6. Tenancy Agreement & Bond Lodgement

Prepare a legally binding tenancy agreement outlining all terms/conditions of renting your property in compliance with New Zealand’s Residential Tenancies Act 1986.
Collect bond (typically four weeks’ rent) at tenancy commencement which should be lodged with Tenancy Services within 23 working days using their online system (www.tenancy.govt.nz).
